For today’s Science task you will be thinking about all the things that humans need to stay healthy. Staying healthy is an important part of looking after our bodies and to make sure we can enjoy life as much as possible!
Start by watching this video about staying healthy.
For this task choose one of the topics below to do some research. You can present your research in any way that you like – you could create a poster, a PowerPoint or even a video!
Food – you could take photographs or videos, or draw pictures of all the healthy foods or meals they have eaten at home or at school, e.g. you might take a photograph of their healthy breakfast or evening meal or you could plan and prepare a healthy meal.
(As an extra challenge you could find out where the food you eat comes from originally. For example, when you drink milk, or eat eggs, do you know which animals these foods come from?)
Exercise – you could take photographs or videos, or draw pictures of the sports or other physical activities you have taken part in, e.g. you might take a video of yourself playing football, doing star jumps or dancing!
Hygiene – you could take photographs or videos, or draw pictures of how you have been careful about hygiene, e.g. you might take a video of yourself washing your hands or helping with the washing-up.
For each photograph, video or drawing you make, explain why this particular food, exercise or hygiene habit is healthy.
